Evaluation Questions , Induction Task

In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?
The remake of the busted video uses the conventions of a real music video as we used the original video so that ours was as similar as it could be to the original video. we planned the video using storyboards and made a list of props needed to make sure that our video looked like the original , some of the props we used were school uniform such as shirts and ties, guitars for the band and the setting of a school classroom. We also used the same shots when filming the video , this then made the video look as similar as possible , also in these shots we had he cast acting out the same things as the band and cast in the original video. we made sure that these conventions were used by carefully planning out each shot using a storyboard , this then allowed the class to act out the video so that it looked as professional and like the real thing as possible .

How did you use media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages?
In the research and planning stages we used websites such as youtube to look at the original music video we also used resources such as storyboards and other grids to plan out what props were needed and what risk assesment should be done to make sure that everyone was kept safe during the filming .
